Automatic validation
The site automatically verifies that the STL or 3MF file is readable and calculates its volume and dimensions. This analysis cannot detect every print constraint, including walls that are too thin, assembly tolerances or certain support requirements. MadeToFit may pause a technically impossible order and offer a correction, a new estimate or a refund.
File responsibility
The customer requests that the file be printed as submitted. Defects caused directly by a file error, unsuitable geometry, insufficient wall thickness or a non-printable design remain the customer’s responsibility. This limitation does not apply to manufacturing errors attributable to MadeToFit.
Confidentiality
Files are uploaded to private storage and used only to analyze, price and produce the request. They are not published in a public gallery.
Price, payment and production
The price is calculated automatically from geometry, material, infill, quantity and active pricing settings. The server recalculates the amount before opening Stripe Checkout. The order is confirmed when Stripe confirms payment. A clear file, calculation or feasibility error may lead to cancellation and refund before production begins.
Intellectual property
The customer retains ownership of the file. MadeToFit claims no rights to the submitted model unless separately authorized in writing.
